Definition: When something is cute, lovely, sweet
I get so caught up with all the bad things in my life sometimes and it sucks, to be frank with you. I often wonder why I may feel down and I think its because it’s so much easier to focus on the rough stuff instead of the heart sparkles!
So to make sure I’m focusing on the good, I will be writing on this blog post about my heart sparkle for the day, every day (Yes! everyday friends! So be sure to check this post to see what my heart sparkle is for that day or days previous)!! Some may be small and others may be grand but maybe you’ll find inspiration to do the same for yourself!!

NOVEMBER 29TH, 2018- Chacos girl’s final art project was putting snowflakes up in this hallway and it looked like a winter wonderland! Paper snowflakes are a heart sparkle fo sho!

NOVEMBER 20TH, 2018- MY BEST FRIEND LIED TO ME FOR A LONG TIME TELLING ME THAT SHE WASNT GOING TO COME HOME FOR THANKSGIVING. THEN SHE FACETIMED ME TODAY TO TELL ME THAT SHE LIED TO ME AND THAT SHE IS ACTUALLY COMING HOME (I actually cried… 100% not joking)!! I can’t wait to hug her!!!!!

NOVEMBER 3RD, 2018- A few friends and I took a day trip to Newport!! So obviously we took tons of photos (like 800). But this is just a photo of how happy I was and a photo of a sweet friend moment with Chacos girl.
NOVEMBER 2ND, 2018- I only have one class on Fridays. BEST. DECISION. EVER.
NOVEMBER 1ST, 2018- Chacos girl is teaching me how to do a headstand and I am teaching her how to do a handstand so that way when we travel around the world together we can take cool pictures. hehe
OCTOBER 31ST, 2018 (HAPPY HALLOWEEN!)- Today I realized that not this weekend but next weekend (November 9th-11th) The Father and step-mom are coming visit! And then a week and a half later I fly home for Thanksgiving. And then a week and a half after that I go home for winter break!!! HOLLA

You like to stick to me when I don’t want you to and fall off me when I don’t want you to (aka a glitter path from the dorm bathroom to my room). OCTOBER 23RD, 2018- I wore a cute new shirt today that my Grammy bought me from Urban Outfitters and I got a lot of compliments on it. That made me feel special 🙂
OCTOBER 22ND, 2018- I talked to my best friend today, and was informed that the evil in my hometown has been lifted and that the curse set on my high school is no longer!! Friends this is such sweet news! My hometown has been through so much in the past 5 years and now we will be able to finally start recovering!

OCTOBER 17TH, 2018- Chacos girl and I were talking about our little house/ apartment that we are really excited about for next year and decided that when we go and visit each other over the summer, we’re going to take a picture together in our favorite mountain places in each of our home states and hang them up!!

OCTOBER 15TH, 2018- I taught Oregon people to put honey on their pizza!! But it was actually funny when I asked the waiter for honey she looked at me like UMMMM I DONT KNOW WEIRDO (most of the time honey is on the table in pizza places)!! #coloradogal

OCTOBER 8TH, 2018- So I’m embarrassed to admit that I haven’t picked up my bible in a few days, but I did today! So I opened my Blue Book (go get one) and I forgot that my bookmark was a makeshift birthday card from my Grandpa and Mimi. My Grandpa passed away this past August and anyways it was just a sweet reminder of him.
OCTOBER 7TH, 2018- Chacos girl and I were hanging out (when are we not) and were talking about how we are really excited to get married and how we already have our dresses picked out. So she showed me and its the EXACT dress that I picked out!! Crazy, were like the same person yet very different in our own little ways.
OCTOBER 6TH, 2018- Today was a good chill day. I feel as though Ive been non-stop running around
OCTOBER 5TH, 2018- Today I feel like I got a lot done! I only have one class on Fridays and it’s in the morning so after I’m able to get lots of homework done before the weekend! #feelinaccomplished
OCTOBER 4TH, 2018- Home cooked meals!!!! I don’t think you ever really appreciate a home cooked meal until you’re in college and all you’ve got is dining hall food. Chaco’s girl and I were invited over to have dinner with a new friend that works for the church that we’ve been going to. Not only was the dinner awesome (it was some skillet thing with sweet potatoes and cheese… very delicious (picture below)) but, our new friends are so sweet and my heart is so full!
OCTOBER 3RD, 2018- Tonight I ended up hanging out with some of the boys. We all talked for probably like three hours, just sharing fun facts with each other. It was nothing special really, but we laughed a lot!

OCTOBER 1ST, 2018- Today I went on a walk (we actually walked like 2 miles!) with a few friends and as we were strolling down this country road we came across this lone sunflower. It was beautiful and the sunset was perfect and I was just in awe!!

SEPTEMBER 29TH, 2018- Before moving to Oregon I was so excited for colder weather with lots of clouds and rain (Yes! you’re reading correctly I love the rain) and it’s been HOT actually, the past two weeks that I’ve been here! Not that sunny is a bad thing, I was just so excited! But finally today I woke up to cloudy skies! I got to put on my brand new, matte black, low rise Hunter rain boots and jump around in puddles!!
SEPTEMBER 28TH, 2018- I’m not completely sure if I consider this a heart sparkle, but it is definitely something that made my day interesting and I WILL remember it forever. So, my roommate and I are walking back from an outdoor movie and all of a sudden my roommate starts screaming and I’m like omg what’s going on! I turn the corner and there is a giant (and when I say giant, I mean GIANT) possum hissing at us!! Just like any other teenage girl- I scream also and run away (obviously what else would you do). First of all, I have never seen a possum outside of the zoo and second, I am still shaking, this thing looked very angry and ready to pounce!! Oh my goodness!
SEPTEMBER 27TH, 2018- Today I received two packages in the mail when I was only expecting one! The first being a toe ring I ordered (side note: it’s adorable, I would totally post a photo of my toe ring but you don’t want to see my old dancer feet ;)) and the other a care package from my Mama and Step-dad. It was full of home-popped popcorn (a sweet reminder of home), mini M&Ms (my fav M&M), and goldfish. Packages always make me feel extra special 🙂
